Abstract submissions for posters and EIA are now open!
We invite you to submit your EIA and Poster abstracts for the BSH 27th Annual Meeting. Please read the terms and conditions before submitting. All accepted poster and EIA applicants will be required to purchase in-person tickets to display the posters at the meeting.
Encore abstracts will be accepted but they must be reworked and can’t be presented exactly the same as before.

Poster Abstracts
This is an opportunity to submit your heart failure research or examples of good clinical practice to be displayed as a poster presentation at the BSH Annual Meeting. All accepted poster applicants will be invited to display their posters online and at the meeting and the top 5 will be invited to present their posters orally at the conference with the winner being announced on day 2 during session 8. The winning presenter will receive free entry to the BSH Annual Meeting 2025 and all 5 participants will receive certificates as well as being recognised in the British Journal of Cardiology publication.
All poster submissions to be received no later than 23:59 on Sunday 8 September.
Early Investigator Award Abstracts
The BSH is committed to research investigating the cause, management and treatment of heart failure and related conditions, and would like to invite submissions of abstracts from early career investigators pursuing research into heart failure. All accepted EIA applicants will be invited to display their posters online and at the meeting. The top 3 applicants will be asked to present on day 1 in session 5 for 7mins which will be judged with the winner being announced on day 2. All 3 presenters will receive a certificate and complimentary registration for the 27th BSH Annual Meeting 2024. The winner will also receive a prize of £250.
