Can I purchase tickets with a purchase order?

Please choose the group booking option when registering for 1 or more tickets. You will need to upload the purchase order from your accounts team to the link in your reservation request and add the purchase order number to during the booking process. Purchase Orders must contain the following information:

- Names and emails of all delegates

- Name and address of the organisation

- Purchase order number

- Ticket type and fees 

- BSH Membership number 

Without the correct information, the purchase order will not be processed.

How do I cancel or change my registration?

You can change or cancel your registration by contacting events@bsh.org.uk. 

For cancellations up until midnight, eight weeks prior to the first day of the event a 100% refund will be given. 

For cancellations up until midnight, six weeks prior to the first day of the event a 50% refund will be given.

For registrations cancelled after midnight, four weeks prior to the first day of the event, or for failure to attend the conference, no refund will be given.

Changes will incur an administration fee as stipulated below.

How can I purchase a discounted members ticket?

To benefit for a members ticket, you must have a BSH membership which should continue throughout the year up to and including the annual meeting, and renewed prior to the meeting as required, until at least the 22 November 2024. Any delegates purchasing tickets with expired memberships that are not renewed, will have their ticket cancelled so that they can purchase the non-members ticket.

Will I receive CPD points for attending the meeting?

Can I give my in-person ticket to my colleague on the day?

Delegates will only be able to access the meeting with their own ticket. 

Delegates are not allowed to send another delegate in their place Anyone turning up in place of someone else will not be given access to the meeting.

Name can be made only as per the Terms and Conditions. 

Can I share my virtual ticket with a colleague ?

Each delegate purchasing a ticket, in-person or virtual, will be given an individual login and password to access the app and virtual platform. 

Virtual tickets are valid for 1 person only. Sharing of tickets is not permitted. The system will automatically shut down duplicate logins.

Sharing of logins will invalidate any technical or other support should you require it.

Can I purchase an in-person student ticket?

Students are not allowed to purchase in-person tickets to the meeting. There are virtual tickets available for students. If you purchase one of these, you will be asked for proof for your current student status. You must be an undergraduate to qualify for a student ticket.

Can I purchase an in-person ticket on the door at the Annual Meeting?

When will I be able to submit a poster and/or EIA application?

Can I submit an encore abstract?

Yes you can submit an accept encore abstract but they must be reworked and can’t be presented exactly the same as before.

Are travel grants available?

Travel grants of up to £100 for plane and rail fares will be available to apply for after the meeting. Please read the Terms and Conditions at the link below to check the criteria for applications. The form to complete will only be made available after the annual meeting.

Can I request a ticket/tickets to be held without a PO or payment?

We are unable to hold any tickets without a payment or purchase order in place.
